We are all family. We have common ancestors. We just have spread out across the world and adapted to our environments and forgotten our true heritage. All of the world needs to come to an understanding that religion, race, nor anything separates us, we separate ourselves. God gave us the idea of religion, humankind divided it up. The basics of religion are worship, faith, love, and hope ( i stop there, but know there are probably more things in common). We came along and cut a piece of the pie of "the idea of religion" out. We took bits and pieces of what we believe and then added and subtracted according to what worked best for us. That is why we have so many different religious beliefs. That is why wars happen. Not because of religion, but because of our ignorance of the facts. We would work together better if we could all see that we all come one creator, I come from God, You may call him Allah, or someone else may call him a her and her name be Luna. Think about it.

I respect you for your intellect. Thank you. It helps me to grow both spiritually and mentally. I hope that I am of some help or at least got you thinking. One of my first teachers outside of Judea-Christian beliefs asked me,"What is right? Wrong? To you, my right may be your wrong and vice versa. So again I ask what is right?". This is something I find myself continually thinking about. Obviously, we still have to have laws. Beliefs, not religion, should not ever be the basis of our actions in affairs not pertaining to religion. Beliefs are personal. It just so happens that many of us have the same beliefs. To me there is only an "idea of religion" and there are many different beliefs. There is no book, no person living (including myself) that fully understands this. One day, may be, we'll find out.
I do have trouble agreeing to beliefs that say it is good to hurt others. I find it hard to believe that persecution and annihilation are a part of the "idea of religion".
