It's certainly in the millions. However, there is no exact answer, as hotels are constantly opening and closing, and some expand and add rooms or combine rooms to create suites. On any given day the total will be different than it was the day before. I'd suggest you look to the website for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (or any similar group) for a good estimate.
