You are not alone sweetie x.

Ignore the man above me, I bet he'd be the best parent EVER and his poo doesn't smell.

I don't get what you mean when you say wrong person. I'm sad for you but always look for a positive in a negative situation. If you don't like him and he doesn't like you I wouldn't be with him just for the baby. The statistics may show that a 2 parent home is better for a child but I'm a firm believer that when 2 parents don't get along and don't like eachother it worse for the child. You need to be more specific do you like him and he doesn't like you? Maybe after the child is born as parents you both will learn to grow and love eachother as the parents of this child. If he's abusive in anyway girl run run run.

No you shouldn't believe me! I know it seems really scary the thought of being on your own and having a baby but its horrible when you feel like your stuck in a relationship that really isn't working and you will find it even harder to break away once the baby is born. This man can still be a good father to your baby even if your not together as a couple.

im having the same problem, it sucks. I do love him, but definately dont want to marry him. I was very confused in the beginning of my pregnancy, but my mother kept telling me that it was wrong to punish a baby because of our relationship. which she was right. I am now 20 weeks, and cant wait to meet my child. I just have to take everyday one day at a time. I feel like I am staying with him just because of the baby, but who knows, I may have this child and his affection and love for the child might just be the reason i would marry him!!! good luck, i hope everything works out for you!!!

no way should you stay with him! even though you want nyour child to have both a mother and father, if you are with the wrong man, it will never work and your baby will pick up on that tension and unhappiness. its best to get support from family and friends in the raising of your child while you are single and maybe you will eventually find a prince charming out there that will be a GREAT step- parent for your baby!

Happy parents = happy kids. If you are unhappy with your relationship it WILL effect your child. It is better to have an amicable relationship where you are both involved with the child, just not with eachother. It can be done. It is NEVER a good idea to stay with someone for the sake of a baby. Kids are smart, and they can sense tension and unhappiness.

many will say you shouldnt ever stay with someone for the baby
I disagree , unless you or the child are in danger of course.
The stats show the child that come from a home with 2 parents are less likely to drop out of school , do drug , teen pregancies, also less likely to be involoved in violent crimes and on and on

That person can be in the childs life, but to stay in an everyday relationship with a person you don't like or get along with is not healthy for anyone.
