I applaud the question, it's ingenious and a great way to shut people up when they whip out the line, but I am going to have to answer it because I know the answer.
Religiously and historically speaking, Yaweh (the Judeo-Christian god) only created the Hebrew race starting with Adam and Eve. Other divines, their existance referenced in ancient copies of the Torah and early Hebrew myths, created other groups of humans in near by lands. When Cain was banished from the land of Yaweh, he found one of these other groups of people and procreated with one of their females. I don't think Able had any kids.
After that, Eve started bearing sons and daughters. It is never clear wheither insest was the reason for the next generation or if the early tribe of Isreal found a different group of neighbors to breed with, but that's a subject for a different time.
Also, if anyone quotes the Leviticus line "if a man sleeps with another man, both shall be stoned to death" as proof homosexuality is a sin, remind them the book of Leviticus was a specific set of rules FOR THE LEVITES, a specific tribe of Israel choosen by God to deal with him directly. The other 11 tribes were merely told "do not lay with a man as you would with a woman", which leaves a lot of room for those of the creative mind. Also, they were still wandering in the desert when they got that law. Love for love's sake was a luxury they could not afford if the nation was to survive.

Abel was murdered by Cain, so Abel did not have children. Seth, a third son, was a gift to replace the lost son Abel.
It is written that Adam and Eve had other children, but their names or sexes are not given.
Regarding the mothers of Cain & Seth's children, if Adam & Eve's other children included one or more females, they could be the mothers. In that case, it would be incest. If it was not one of their siblings, then the mothers would not have been people. In that case, it would be bestiality.
If the Bible is to be taken literally, these are the only possible conclusions. Fortunately, not all Christians take the Bible so literally and can see discrepencies.

That's the difference between taking the Bible literally as the history of the world and denying that anything not in the Bible might be true, and accepting that it's only the history of the Jewish people. Adam and Eve were the first Hebrews, not the first humans.

Touche, I've made this point before, in fact in the Bible specifically makes the point that Adam and Eve came first, then Cain and Abel, then Cain was driven out and somehow met his wife. Where did she come from given that God is said to have made Adam and Eve first and only them.

I believe that if you read Genesis it says that they married the daughters of man. No explanation of who they were or where they came from is given. In Jewish legend Adams first wife was not Eve but Lilith. Eve came later and was created to be Adams perfect mate. I am sure this new information clears everything up like a mud puddle.

Actually, we're not sure who He created FIRST. Yes, there are 2 accounts of man's creation in the Bible. The 1st is at Genesis 1:27 where it says: "So God creat man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Here we have Adam and Eve (?) made together and equal and put in Eden.
THEN at Genesis 2:7 is the creation of man in a different light: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Now HERE there is only 1 person (Adam) being created. Adam lives a number of years, naming animals, watching and talking to God before asking for a mate.
YOUR QUESTION:
The fact is we know from Oral tradition, midrash, and THE BIBLE that they had "other children." The Bible even says, "and they had other children" pointing out the fact.

If you have read my earlier posts, you will notice as easy as Eve was cloned out of a rib from Adam, any sons out of this Adam and Eve, God might have cloned for them their own Eves, Of course, the two sons will give their wifes other names. Yes.

Adam and Eve are said to have had more children besides just Cain and Abel in the bible. Although I think it's creepy that somebody had to bone his/her sibling.

I had a guy actually tell me once that there didn't need to be extra people 'cause they all lived to be 900 years old, and god made it so that no genetic abnormalities happened back then, so incest wasn't such a no-no...
I promptly ended the conversation and went to find a spoon so I could claw my eyes out. The insanity was catching...
