If you have pipes that froze, cut off the water supply coming into the house. You can either call the water company, and they will shut it off outside, or if the break is beyond the inside shutoff, then do it yourself. Clean up the water damge, and then call a plumber to repair the broken pipes.

First call your local water dept. to make sure that you werent shut off for another reason, they will also come out and check the meter to make sure it isnt frozen on their side. If it is you problem, then have you or someone else crawl under the house with a hair dryer and unthaw the pipes, leave all the faucets on so they dont burst. Next get some heat tape or pipe wrap and insulate all the pipes AFTER they are unthawed. If none of the above works or you dont want to crawl under the house call a plumber!!!

If you have difficult pipes, you may want to let the water slowly drip throughout the night to keep some water moving through the pipes. That is what we've done the past few days, and it seems to be doing the trick.
