does anyone know what percent composition of K in potassium chlorate?

Chemistry is so confusing to me..I can't seem to understand it.

At. wts. : K = 39; Cl = 35.5; O = 16.
RMM of KClO3 = 39+35.5+(16*3) = 122.5
GMM of KClO3 = 122.5 g

%age comp. of K in KClO3 = (39/122.5)*100 = 31.836
= 31.84%.

Atomic weights: K = 39 Cl = 35.5 O = 16 KClO3 = 122.5

39/122.5 x 100% = 31.8%
