Ooo... I love Qs like this, but I can't do links tonight - will try to get them in tomorrow. There's rather a lot of 'bodies of water' in my music collection... 'River Man' ~ Nick Drake 'The River' ~ John Martyn 'Back Down the River' ~ John Martyn 'The River' ~ The Cult 'River Boat' ~ Robert Palmer 'The River Boat Song' ~ Ocean Colour Scene 'Ride Across the River' ~ Dire Straits 'The River' ~ Garth Brooks 'The Sea' ~ Fotheringay {Sandy Denny} 'North Sea Oil' ~ Jethro Tull 'The Dreaming Sea' ~ Karen Matheson 'Sail Away to the Sea' ~ Sandy Denny & The Strawbs [also a cover by The Once] 'The Sea' ~ Renaissance 'Dreams By the Sea' ~ John Martyn 'The Sea Captain' ~ Sandy Denny 'Deep Blue Sea' ~ Martin Simpson 'Spirit of the Sea' ~ Blackmore's Night 'Down By the Seaside' ~ Led Zeppelin 'Wide Sargasso Sea' ~ Stevie Nicks [I've not actually played this (album) yet!] * these two are from a new album I have on order, out in June: 'Somewhere Over the Sea (The Moon Is Shining)' ~ Blackmore's Night 'The Moon Is Shining (Somewhere Over the Sea)' ~ Blackmore's Night 'Ocean Gypsy' ~ Renaissance [also a cover by Blackmore's Night] 'The Ocean' ~ Beverley Martyn 'The Pond and the Stream' ~ Fotheringay {Sandy Denny} 'The Lake' ~ Mike Oldfield 'Blackwaterside' ~ Sandy Denny {traditional} 'Down to the Waterline' ~ Dire Straits

Not really, as a lot of people think she was the weakest link in the movie. Plus, the Batman sequels usually have a different leading lady in each one, so it's not a surprise that her character won't be in the next movie. Unless they're going to keep the same character and have a different actress play the part.

She didn't drop out. Her character was originally supposed to return in the sequel, but after Tom Cruise hijacked the promotion of the last film, the producers decided to write her character out. I think it's a shame that Katie has allowed Tom to cost her a great role. It's sad that her career, which was going so great pre-Tom has shriveled to almost nothing since. The same thing happened to Nicole Kidman; she had started off great with the film Dead Calm and had gotten great reviews and then she married Tom and was reduced to taking roles in films like My Life and Malice. Tom obviously like to be the only movie star in the house.

Katie Holmes just needs to drop out of Hollywood, It was big mistake for her to marry Tom. Anyways she's a pretty bad actress, let her go.

ya that is disappointing, but I like that Katie has choosen to be a mother instead of an actress. Other celebs need to follow in her footsteps and be good mothers as well.

Shes not that good of an actress, I won't miss her or her character at all.

no - she didn't have that good a role either

besides most of her roles dont do justice to her acting ability or the other way round

I think it will lower the sentimental value of the movie, since we already care for the characters...

that's just me though :)

Absolutely not. She needs time to focus on scientology, and making sure her daughter is just as nuts as her husband.
