It has to do with the extra hormones and lots of women who have previously never had problems get minor gingivitis and bleeding during their pregnancy. You may want to schedule a routine checkup with your dentist just to make sure that it is still ok and under control...Obviously don't go for the X-rays but just a checkup.

Totally normal!
From the first day of conception all the way through (now in my 18th week) the same thing happens to me when I brush my teeth. I have to brush in spurts throughout the day. I just can't stand all the paste in my mouth at once. I use a pea sized drop on my brush 3-4 times a day. It helps a great deal.
If you notice the sickness getting stronger and interfering with your day/eating habits especially talk to your doc. You can get completely safe anti nauseau meds they do make you tired though. But, they help! I keep them on hand for emergencys.

You can get morning sickness at anytime. With this pregnancy I had it from week 6 to 20 and now I have it again and im 33 weeks along. Im frustrated and tired of being sick, but it happens and its normal for some women.

Totally normal - drink more water and rinse your mouth with an alcohol free mout wash like Biotine, hydrogen peroxide or Colgate complete to help your gums heal and reduce the bleeding. Good Luck!

That happened to me, too! I was sick at the beginning, and it went away for quite awhile. Mine didn't come back that soon, but around 25 weeks I started getting sick again and SUPER bad indigestion... I even slept sitting up for awhile. Brushing my teeth was the worst. I threw up almost every morning. : ) Don't worry, it's all worth it once your little one gets here.

during pregnancy your health sorta goes down the pot. sounds to me you need to go to the dentist. bleeding gums is either brushing too hard or gingivitis. Womens teeth rot easily during pregnancy so you really gotta get that checked out. The nausea coul be from the bleeding.

my gums did that to me to , but not to the point where I got sick, the Dr. said it was a change in the hormones
that caused it, good luck w/ everything .
