Minerva, Roman goddess of wisdom, is the mailing system at UNCG.
Juno, Roman goddess of the home, was the name of a web-browser paired with Net-Zero.
Apollo, Greek god of the sun, is a series name for a group of experiments, ships and satelites created by NASA.

Greek goddess who personifies victory.

The "Swoosh" wing-like shape has frequently led people to believe it is inspired by the wing in the famous statue of Nike, the winged goddess of victory. I was going to say Nike but I think it's a male deity (imaginary of course)

I know Nike is one of them. Nike was the Goddess of victory, I believe.

I'm sure there is more than one, but Nike is the one that leaps to mind. I would be surprised if there were not a bunch of other like Aphrodite, Demeter, Hera, etc.
