Mount Kilimanjaro has not erupted in recorded history. Most scientific sources list the last eruption date, therefore as 'unknown' (link 1).

Local natives have stories that suggest its last eruption was about 170 years ago or so (links 2 and 3). Sulphur can still be found at the top from this activity. This couldn't have been a truly massive event, however... the geologic record suggests that the last such occurrance was about a hundred thousand years ago.

It reached a height of 5900 meters during its last major eruption 360,000 years ago.
