My question is more of a poll. Not meant to incite any arguements. Do you Believe in God or do you lean more towards the Big Band Theory. I believe in God, but have always wondered about the big bang. Couldn't God have make the big bang happen.? Just wondered if everyone else was as curious about this as me. I have always wondered why scientist cant believe in both. Does this sound crazy to everyone?

Gee you might have someting there. The problem isn't God or spirituality, it is religion and the institutions that perpetuate religion. These institutions spread their dogma in order to protect their doctrine that God, evolution, expansion of the universe (big bang theory) are mutually exclusive.

Well, I definitely lean towad the Big Bang thoery. It's just really hard for me to believe that one day some "being" thought it would be kinda cool to have this planet, inhabit it with all sorts of people, plants and animals, and just watch and see what happens from afar. Funny, that it almost sounds like a science experiment? Anyway, for me, the Big Bang theory seems more likely, that's all.

The answer is God created the Big Bang. Pretty simple really.

I agree with you somewhat. While I have 'put away the toys of my youth' as regards religion, if there was a god who made a universe, he also made the laws by which it operates and would be contrained to operate within them as well. The universe got here somehow, it seems logical to me a god could have manufactured a big bang as easily as some other force.

obviously the PRIEST who first put forward the theory of the Big Bang didn't believe that it was incompatible with God.
There's no scientific proof for God, so there's no reason why scientists would believe in both.

God would not have needed a big bang he would have just done it.
It was not a big bang at first it had to grow into it.

Why do you believe that scientists can't believe in both? The scientists at the Vatican observatory don't seem to have any problems with it.

God made everything.God can make anything happen.But we can make stuff happen to.Like the ice caps melting.God can also stop things from happening,but we have to believe in Him.
