apperently so. i've heard of guys named taylor, courtney, etc. other names that i thought were girl names and vise versa girls with guy names. sdo if your names kaitlyn and u dont mind thats all that matters! :)

Of course a guy CAN have the name kaitlyn. But no It is not a traditional guy name (if that's what u r asking)

Well, if that is your name and you are a guy than the answer is yes.
I, as a parent, would not have chosen such a feminine name for my son ,however, if you are secure in your masculinity than Kaitlyn should be a fine name for you.

Historically, boys names become girls names and never go back. Helen, for example, used to be a guy name; there are lots more examples. Joyce Kilmer, anyone?

So you can name your daughter James and if enough people decide that's cool, there won't be a male James in 50 years.

A guy can have whatever name his whacked out parents choose. He of course, may choose to change it to a more "manly" name

You can have any name, some parents are wacked out of their minds. I won't change the fact that people are making fun out of you behind your back (at best).

I've never heard of an instance of it, but I suppose anyone can be named anything, traditional or not.
