Hello,
I have Dreamweaver, but I can't use it, its complicated... Do I need to know HTML language to use it and create my good webpage? Can't I just use it like Word or another program that you know to create webpages normally without all the coding and stuff?

You definitely don't need to know html codes. In fact, using it will help you learn some codes. If you're going for a basic page maybe with some images, I would suggest working on it in Word Perfect and then pasting it into Dreamweaver, but you'll have to reformat it. However, it will allow you to better see what you're doing first and spell check. Other than that. make sure you choose design view or split view instead of code view and learn as you go.

Dreamweaver design view is WYSIWYG - a graphical interface where you click an icon representing what you want to add, and then it adds it. You can drag it around and resize and move and all the basic operations without touching the code. Dreamweaver code view is more under-the-hood and is good for fixing things that Dreamweaver thinks you want but don't.

"All the coding and stuff" will allow you to do what you want to do, and will help you write better code. Feel free to start with design view and do the heavy coding there, but you should look at what it's doing and try to get a handle on what's happening so you can fix it when it breaks, and it will.

Technically, no, you do not need to know HTML, if using the more modern versions of Dreamweaver. However, you will never achieve your desired effects, features, and updates, if you don't get "under the hood" with Dreamweaver and tweak or fine tune the HTML.

You will almost assuredly need at some point, to "touch" the HTML or other code used in and/or by Dreamweaver. It's just inherent to the hobby or business of web design :)

dreamweaver is a tough program to use, I don't use it for my site (check link below) as when I was looking at creating it I got a huge book dropped in my lap an was told to read it, it does require HTML knowledge to make your life easier I suggest frontpage, keep in mind that you don't need frontpage extensions to publish a site....

hope this helps, an in thanks feel free to check out: http://4einc.info
