Hemingway has said somewhere that if you love earnestly then there can not be better end to it. Here also he talks about love but the message is a bit complex. Suppose you have never loved at all and in that case you are saved from the pains of losing someone. But if you love someone and lost in that case your life is richer by the experience of having loved someone. Love teaches us many things and our life is all about learning.

It is much better to have loved and lost. Because if the love were true, it sets us free, and losing doesn't mean anything. Loving someone doesn't mean possessing someone. It is actually setting the person free, as well as yourself. You can never lose a person you've set free. You still feel the love, even though the person is no longer around (either alive or dead). True love makes you feel stronger and alive. False love makes you feel weaker and dead.

It is better to have loved and lost that way you know what love feels like. Love is an experience that is be had and enjoyed while you have it because if you loose it ... it was never meant to be and something better is coming along.just be patient...

I believe so, because the only true happiness in life is to love and to be loved. Without love u can possibly die! Everyone needs affection. It is better to know that u have experienced what u felt was love than to leave the world never knowing how it feels. (or have the love reciprocrated) Love and beauty is the most wonderful things in the world that u cannot see but only feel them within the heart!

Yes, but only 3 times at most. If this continues to happen, you might want to examine the love-choices you make, and try to break any self-destructive patterns.
