Yahoo didn't do it. Someone reported you for some reason and the computers at yahoo deleted it. No one at Yahoo is reading everyone's questions and answers and deciding what should be deleted. It's all computerized. Someone on this board decided that your answer was inappropriate and reported you. Sorry. It's just something you have to deal with on here

Yahoo deletes any question or answer that they get a report on. They do nothing to check the validity of the report. Don't take it personal - it's not you - it's a free service by Yahoo and those reports mean nothing to yahoo- they just assume that all are valid and delete anything that is reported.

more than likely he was the one who reported you, as for your answer as long as you didn't insult him like calling him names or harassing him you should not have been deleted. too i guess he could have saw it as you weren't really answering his question yes or no but made a statement on your beliefs rather than his question...just a thought though. it is frustrating to get deleted and lose points on something like that and see other things on here never get taken off. really sometimes there are just ppl out there who cruise the boards and report ppl for no reason at all. you can respond to yahoo in the violation notice email they sent you and tell them why you think it was unfair for them to delete you. i have done this a few times when some reported me for no reason and was pleasantly surprised that yahoo reversed the deletion and gave me back my points. too just try and ignore those who act silly on here, there are many and they aren't worth your time or frustration.

i think they deduct points from deleted answers. i swear they deleted 9 pts for deleting my answer. the question was something about finding a book written by one of osama's wife. and my answer was that if there ever was such a book i would not buy it and support a terrorist family. i don't think woman in that country are allowed to even know how to read never mind write a book.

anyway the asker was the person who deleted your answer. u probably hurt his feelings and he wanted your out. or it could of been an accident. don't take it personally it happents to all of us.

Did they delete the entire question along with yours and others answers? They are just trying to keep the Y Answers community safe, and probably deleted yours accidentally.

It's not sensible, but it happens a lot. Maybe he was the one who deleted you. You never know. Some people just really like deleting others' Qs and As.

it's just the NAZI's at YA.
They don't even check to see why someone flagged a question or answer. They just auto delete it.
Typical Liberals!
