Maybe you don't have good enough/fun enough friends to see the appeal?
Nobody I would rather be with than my wife, but it's nice to have a few beers and a chat with friends too. Don't see why it should be construed as a negative thing, unless they are getting absolutely hammered, throwing up etc

I have to ask a question to you... Did he belong to a fraternity? I'm dating a 34 year old man and he absolutely loves to do the same thing... I often wonder if they even have class or culture because they don't do anything else or want to learn anything new. I can't imagine being with someone who only wants to do that,,, what a boring life. The only thing I can think of is hanging on to the past of when they were younger and feeling like they were a part of something. When they drink they feel confident and they think they are fun to hang around. I also think some people like to escape from relality. It depends also on what he thinks is a priority. I also don't see the appeal, but good luck trying to change that. maybe you should also see if his friends are all single. If they are you can tell him their drinking habits is probably the reason for that.

It's not just guys, I am by no means a BIG drinker, but I LOVE going out with just the girls and having some drinks. I mean, there are times when it should be just the girls/guys, I know that I feel alot more comfortable acting silly and dancing when my boyfriends not around, guys are probably the same way when we are not there.

Definatly not breeding material for a few years.
Girls make sure these types don't get any for free, otherwise they will never grow up.
