Use whatever criteria you want. How much you admire them, what they accomplished, how popular & unifying their policies were, or whatever. Feel free to go back 5-10 years before you were born if you've got a good understanding of what those presidents did, also.

First, I will eliminate anyone from the past 25 years because it takes at least that long for history to give us real perspective on their accomplishments, or not. I would say it is a tossup between Kennedy or Truman. Both had the political courage to work against the Political Establishment of their times.

Bill Clinton. It's just sad that his amazing governing ability was short-circuited at the end of his term by the lunatic witch-hunt right wing.

If left to focus on his own policies (which included busting up terrorist groups) he might have prevented 9/11... but the righties were too focused on his pants.

FDR (not in my lifetime, but that's an irrelevant parameter so I'm disregarding it)

In my lifetime? Easy. CLINTON! by a thousand-fold.

Ronald Reagan undoubtedly.

He perserved until the Soviet Union dissolved, thus ending the Cold War.

Reagan was a polarizing idiot. In terms of accomplishments, this 48 year old would have to say it's a tossup between Kennedy and Nixon. Yes, Nixon. And I'm a far left liberal. He was a jerk, but he did tons for social programs, the environment, and he was a foreign policy genius. (and a crook and a liar, but who's counting)
