Grilled or steamed corn on the cob, seasoned potato wedges, and/or biscuits?

Since you already will be dirtying your hands to eat the ribs, you may want to choose side dishes that are also finger foods, like those I've suggested. Otherwise, you have to switch back and forth between barbequey fingers and a fork, which creates an even worse mess and is annoying! Good luck!

Hmmm... Ribs? BBQ Ribs? I'd say baked beans and cornbread of some kind (muffins or even cornbread cake). Corn on the cob and mashed potatoes or potato skins are good for that, too. If you are grilling, you can also just do some grilled veggies.

Baked Beans always go with ribs. Also, corn bread and coleslaw go well.

Wow, I'm getting really hungry!

I like Baked Potatoes with cajun spice and salt on the outside, and grilled Asparagrass is a winner.

I generally make either potato salad OR french fries, and serve it with either cole slaw OR a green salad. Maybe an ear of corn too, if he's really hungry.
