or those crappy remakes with the olsen twins and lindsay lohan? i have to say that the 1961 one is my all-time favorite movie.

Hayley Mills made the Parent Trap movies what they were and I don't believe any remake could be better than the original.
I'm just glad they didn't try to ruin and remake Pollyana...

The Olsen twins made a parent trap? yuck.
I prefer the 1961 version. Some of the scenes they shot were filmed in my hometown.

I really don't like remakes and don't watch them, the ones I have seen were not as good as the original so why waste the time? I liked the Parent Trap from 1961, that was good. =)

I'm with you about the remake being crappy. I was all excited to see it, hoping that it would be as amusing as the first, but it totally lacked...everything. The '61 Hayley Mills version has charm and talent. :)
