Jews, Christians, and Muslims all hate. It's probably the one real thing they have in common.

No. I went to Catholic school and we were made to learn the Bible inside and out. (Yes, I don't have it memoriezed anymore - but I remember the highlights). What we were taught was, bottomline: "Treat others as you want to be treated." Have compassion. Don't judge. Be a good person. Help others. Where does anti-sematism come from..... SOCIETY, not the bible. It comes from different people of different backgrounds for a variety of reasons: Ignorance, Jealousy, or they are just plain, mean, hateful people that probably will find something wrong with everyone from every walk of life. These people usually are miserble in life and live to complain about everyone and everything because it is easier than to hold a mirror up to themselves and realise THEY are the problem.

not sure if this answers your question...but hatred in Christianity I think,is more fear and enthusiasm to convert, than hatred.
Yes, Christians have killed people based on their beliefs... having said that, so have numerous people of various faiths in history. But that doesn't mean that hatred is taught. All these answerers saying they were taught forgiveness and love etc... They were, for the most part. But they were also taught (as every other religion including Islam) that they are right and everyone else is going to hell. Where you take your teachings is up to you. You can take all that and say if everyone else is going to hell then they are evil and need to be dealt with...hence hatred and fear and war. You can take it all and say a prayer for others and be tolerant of their decisions to be in other faiths and believe other things.

Maybe in a few narrow minded types when it comes to Christians.
Islam hates ALL non-believers that includes you.
Roots of anti-semitism comes from missunderstanding and ingorance.
Like now the reason why Islam hates all non-believers.

Most Christians I know do not get the connection to Jesus death and Jews. Feeling that Jesus himself was a Jew and so was the apostle Paul and the other apostles.
The view Jerusalem to be the holy city.
As a christian I have no hate of Jews. For the other you will have to ask a muslim. I think they just hate everybody.

only remember that Jesus and His OT prophets have been all Jews. different than for Luke the NT have been written by the Jewish prophets of Jesus. Christians persist with Jesus, a Jew and the writings of the Jews. Hitler killed extra Christians than Jews in numbers as he grew to become into not a Christian. for this reason, a minimum of from Biblical attitude, Christians agape-love the Jews often. somewhat Christians as a collection are at the instant the main important pals of the Jews.

If any Christians are professing to be Christian and they hate Jewish people they are NOT of God. I believe we are grafted in along with the Jewish people, but in no way replace them as God's chosen and beloved people. God will deal with those who dare to go against His chosen ones! I pray for the peace if Jerusalem every day and for God to bless the nation of Israel and her beloved people! I cannot speak for Islam but as a Christian, I do not suscribe to "replacement theology" nor do I agree with those who do. This is not what Christ intended. He loved the Jewish people, his people. In fact, the first Christians were Jews and the first congregations were Jewish! As a follower of our Jewish messiah, I will follow in his footsteps and do all I can to be a blessing to God's beloved people!
Hitler is not an example of a person who loved anyone! He also persecuted some of his own people who disagreed with him. He murdered anyone who got in his way! He is not worthy to be called a Christian in my book! I am sorry for some of the people who call themselves Christ's followers and would hate and murder our Lords people! I know the history of Christianity is filled with awful things directed at the Jewish people, this is not what was intended by Christ who taught us to love! God bless you and the Jewish people!
The president of Iran would get rid of America too if he can!

For many years, the Catholic church claimed that the Jews killed Jesus. This is what led to the murders of millions of Jews. Finally the Catholic church admitted that they were wrong. Islam opposes the Jews because they want to get rid of Israel. Hatred is a poisonous thing.

I don't know, you might want to google it.
But about the Jews killing Jesus, it wasn't, it was the Romans.
Jews and all people are another faith, another way of expressing ones' beliefs. Why hate anyone when in the bible it predicted Jesus fate. If it wouldn't of happened we wouldnt all have the hope we were given. SO let's stop pointing fingers at who did what to Jesus and let's remember what he did. That's what he was sent here on earth for, to give his life for us in order for us to have everlasting life. It's not anyone's fault, just his fate.
We weren't meant to judge at who did this to Jesus, but to appreciate what he did. Give his life for us. GIve us hope of a better life, after life, whatever you want to call it. Just to be good to one another no matter what, race, color, faith. He didn't care about that, why should we?
