The best phone? It depends on what you like. I personally love flip phones. My phone has to have a good battery life, great messaging features, camera, video and look cute. I am currently with TMobile. They have a GSM network. You can purchase an unlocked GSM phone and have it actived on TMobile or Cingular since they both have GSM networks...that's something you can't do with CDMA network. That is what Sprint, Verizon, Ampd, Nextel, and Helio have. I prefer contract plans because I use my cell phone a lot. I would end spending more money buying minutes so post paid service is better for me. I think pre paid plans are great for teens and people who just use their phones for emergencies only. I've been a TMobile customer since Feb 06. I had transferred my number from Sprint. I love Sprint phones but hate the service. They are being sued for bad billing practices...they love to overcharge people and add bogus State/Tax/Fees. TMobile has great customer service and they have the least expensive plans of all the major carriers. As far as phones with TMobile, I think the Sidekick 3 is very popular and also the Moto Razr. I haven't had any issues with dropped calls. The service is really good where I live. The best thing to do is go to TMobile.com and do a coverage check. I think Cingular and Verizon have the largest calling network.

I prefer Verizon because it is the best in my opinion. I have never had a dropped call and there are good plans for all of your communication needs. Currently I have the V (VX9800) and it is wonderful. Full QWERTY keyboard which is great for Txt'ing and it also has V-Cast. Another phone similar to it is the EnV which is an updated version of the V. Also, both phones are music players. So if you are into Txt'ing, get the V or the EnV. If you just want a nice phone for talking, get a Razr, a Krzer, or a Chocolate. Hope this helps!
