Hypothetically, if Hillary or Obama were to get the Democratic nomination, but a Republican were to win the 2008 presidential election...
Is there a chance Democrats will NOT call Republican voters either a bigot and chauvinist (if they beat Hillary) or a bigot and racist (if they beat Obama)?
The way I see it is if either one of them gets the nomination, and they lose to a Republican, conservatives will get called names (unfairly and inaccurately). However, wouldn't the Democrats themselves be in no position to talk since they would have not voted for the other one to get the nomination? (i.e. If Hillary gets the nomination, people could unfairly and inaccurately call them racist because they failed to vote for Obama to get the nom, or vice versa.)
Yet how many will still call Republicans sexist or racist if a Republican wins the election?
Or maybe Republicans won't get called names? Thoughts?

It wouldn't make any difference if democrats ran an organ grinder's monkey for President, opposing conservatives will ALWAYS be subjected to the criticism of being a group of racist, bigoted, homophobs who starve children, create America's homeless, evade paying a fair share in taxes and beat their wives with the butt-end of their huntin' rifle. When finished with that, we either drink ourselves into a drunkin' stuper or take the Bible out of its golden lined alter and go to church to see Jim Jones. But I would still rather be a conservative with some principles instead of being a lemming dressed up as a democrat.

No bias in you, right? Dems are called bleeding hearts because they cry for the wrong person. You cry for the guilty, and accuse the victim. You blame guns and gun manufacturers for murder, and want to let murderers off on "society caused it" BS. As for the republicans being racist bigots. There is more racism in the democratic party than there ever has been in the republican. There is also more social class warfare in the democratic party, but explaining that here to your narrow mind would not work. You should read "Who Really Cares" and at least you would find out who are the giving, compassionate ones in this country.

since I've seen some reps on here saying they will never vote or recognize a black president- if he loses, especailly in the southern red states I'll probally assume some racism was involved.
and yes some, but not as many as with obama, have said they won't have a female is office. I don't believe this misogyny is as wide spread as racism, thus I don't think it can sway the election.

Everyone already knows that Republic voters are bigots and racist. It doesn't matter anyways because Senator Clinton will be our next President. Look at the polls, the only Republic candidate that comes close matching up to her head to head is Giuliani and his pro abortion and pro gay rights stand will make it hard for him to win the Republic nomination.

They will. They *love* to play the race card...as long as it benefits *them*. Don't believe there's a double-standard? Just look at how Boxer talked to Condi - if we could put each woman into the opposite party, the media would have ROASTED Boxer. But - since she's a Dem and Condi is a Rep, I guess Condi is just supposed to suck it up.
I always have to laugh when people claim that Republicans are racists. Yeah, right - every single Republican in the country is a flaming racist...especially that Bush! That's why he appointed not one, but *two* blacks to the highest office ever held by blacks.
Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal....

If the Republicans win, they will indeed be insulted.
Either that or the Diebold myth will resurface. Or both.
I hope it's a problem we get to deal with! :)
