It could be a number of reasons. ( Spyware / Viruses ) or could be the connection you have with your Wi-Fi.
Just to be on the safe side, if you are able to find a stable connection, or have the software already available on your computer, I would run a spyware scan and virus scan.
If neither show anything, try clearing your temp files / cache / cookies of your computer / rebooting and trying the connection again.
You may need to try and reconfigure the wi-fi connection, check for interference of the wireless signal to your computer.
