I saw a similar trick where you put flys in the freezer and then "plant" them on a windowsill to set up the trick. You then tell people you have the ability to raise things from the dead. To prove it you "find" the dead fly on the windowsill and place it in the palm of your hand and blow on it. the warmth of your hand and breath thaws out the fly and it will get up and fly off.

Living things in the microwave?

When we were kids we went through that thing where all kids do when we would put things in the microwave to see how long it would be before they exploded.The frog used to last a full 4 minutes so yes it has a good chance

That's like rendering you unconscious then puring sulfuric acid onto you and watching you curl up in excruciating pain. I realise it was a fly, but it's still alive.
