is fox's "cops" all set-up or is it real footage? either way its entertaining.

I agree that it is scripted .. to a point. Have you ever seen cops riding along with a camera man in tow? I know that if I was ever pulled over I would not allow someone to film the incident. I also find it entertaining.

it is real footage from the police dash cam and a camera crew, the crew can only get into the action in an emergency, but it is not scripted it is 100% real action that police face everyday.

American reality shows are hastening the demise of tv - cheap programming, inferior quality - bring back the good old British Drama or Comedy!
