There are software packages out there like NetNanny ($40/year) that can restrict/monitor your sons online behavior.

The basics are this though. If he's erasing the history and recent webpages, then more than likely he's going places that he doesn't want you to know about. If he is unwilling to surf the web without clearing his history, then don't let him use the computer. That's the cheapest way to do it.

I believe there are ways to create accounts in Windows (I assume you are using windows) so that when he logs in that he won't have the ability to erase the history etc or install other programs.

It really depends how much you want to lock and key the system down.

I don't think there's a foolproof way. The best solution is probably not to allow unsupervised access. Any technological solution can probably be got around. Nevertheless, here are some possibilities:

1. Install a VNC server so that you can monitor what is on his screen from another computer.

2. If his machine is connected to the internet through a lan/router, it may be possible to configure the router to email access logs to yourself.

3. Social engineering: invite a geek friend round to PRETEND to do something untraceable to his PC to make it possible for you to know. Since it sounds like he is hiding his tracks rather than you just wanting to know where he is going, this method could make him think twice.

4. Invite a geek friend round to ACTUALLY do this.

5. Control access to the internet as a whole by turning off his computer or removing the modem.

6. Ask him where he is surfing. If he answers truthfully it is a lot less invasive than most other methods.

1. It's just a harmless fetish. Trust me, everybody has them, and everybody has different kinds. Dominant female fetishes aren't abnormal. What he does in the bedroom isn't anything to worry about. 2. You don't have to do anything about it. As I said, it's normal. He's 15, and he's found something he likes. This is totally normal. 3. Do not talk to him about it. The feelings he will have will go beyond embarrassed or awkward. Try emotionally scarred or humiliated. The worst thing a mother can do is talk to her son about masturbation. It is humiliating. More than humiliating, somewhere around degrading. So whatever you, do not mention it, or even hint at it. And your husband shouldn't talk to him about it either. No one wants to talk to their mother about their fetishes.

your checking the wrong things. what if he changes browsers on you one day? you gotta pretty much virus your own computer with a net nanny program that records his every action and reports back to you.
