depends on the size of the snake and cat

If the snake is large enough, it might. If the snake is not large enough, the cat might eat it! I have snakes, cats and dogs and I am very careful to monitor their interactions- I hold the snake and I have a free hand ready to come between the snake and the cat/dog if necessary. I figure if anyone should get bit, it should be me for being an idiot to put them together in the first place.

Not unless you have a really big snake like an adult boa or python. Cats are way too big for a smaller snake to eat, I wouldn't be surprised if the cat tried to attack the snake. My advice is not to have them in the same area together in the first place to avoid any problems.

if it's a big snake like 6-8 feet or more and not feed properly and the snake is around your cat when hungry then yes there is a high risk of having your cat eaten by your snake. but if you take care of your snake properly and feed him regularly like once a week then you and your cat are safe.

that depends. how big is it? If you have something gargantuan like a boa or something, i would definitely be concerned for everyone's safety. i have a baby corn snake and a cat, but i'm more concerned about the snake than the cat. Just last night he woke me up trying to get into Arty's tank!

It really depends on how large the snake is, and how you feed it. If you normally feed your snake whole large rats, or rabbits, it could be a problem. Especially if you give it live food. If you normally bag feed with frozen food, you might be OK - but I'd keep a close eye on them whenever they're together.

If the snake is big enough it can. I've heard horrible stories of people who get cats to feed to their larger snakes like burmese python and boas.
