There's really no safe time.

The safer times are anytime other then the 5 days befor you ovulate, the day you ovulate and the afterwards. This is because the egg is only good for about 24 hours, and sperm can live up to 5 days.

I use this timing method for the three months I go off the pill, before we start trying for the baby. So far it's always worked and I have gotten pregnant the first time. I wouldn't take this chance though if I wasn't ready for a baby because your cycle can always be off.

You must mean the time when you cannot get pregnant? How many times must it be said...could happen any time really because your cycle is probably not 100% regular. Why chance it?

None. If you have sex, you can get pregnant ANY TIME there is a viable egg (ovulation) and viable sperm.

most likely right before and right after her period. but you still must be careful.
