I want to add a mouse (USB) to my laptop. The question is: will I be able to use the normal laptop mouse when I want to? Or is it somehow affected? Also, will I need to do anything special to install the new mouse, or I just connect it to the USB port?
Thanks.

some playstation /2 interface contraptions, quite many times mice, can not be used with a usb-playstation /2 adapter. Vista ought to not have the potential to speak with the playstation /2 mouse motive force utilising the usb port. attempt a usb mouse.

It will not affect your laptop mouse and you will only need to connect it to any open USB port.

yes,u can use both the mouse and touchpad at the same time.
Touchpads are so sensitive so they easily wear-off with time.Mine too has some problems now.
No,u dont need any softwares,it is a plug and play device.
