Now that this coocoo astronaut lady has been arrested for attempted everything, do you think more people will be interested in becoming one? It shows that they're not just a bunch of nerds.

One nut case isn't going to change anything. Being an astronaut will always be a cool profession, as it's always been.

Come on now. If it changes anyones mind about becoming an astronaut because of what this one Astronaut has done. You do the math. There are enough moron's out there. One in space would be my last straw.
A little compassion is in order now. You/we as the public have no idea what happened to that woman.

I would pick astronaut because it would allow me to explore the unknown and see and understand things that the average person cannot. I also think it would be less repetitious. Once you've performed a certain surgery, won't it be the same every time you perform it after that? As an astronaut I think everyday would be a different adventure.

Are you kidding? An Astronaut will always be a cool profession. How many people get to go into outerspace? Not many, hell yea it's a cool profession.

They were never a bunch of nerds. They are all athletic all pilots all smart, and all brave. Nerd does not enter into the equation. What gave you the impression they were nerds? All this lady proved is that there are wingnuts in every profession.
