Well, this week I'm trying to survive -22C weather, with windchill as low as -36C. And this is by far NOT the coldest winter I've survived. This cold chill here has been going on for almost 3 weeks now with the exception of 3 days of -8 (windchill -15). Think I'm almost used to it now just in time for spring to almost get here.

Probably, but it's hard to remember when. I live in coastal California, and had to scrape ice off my car every day for a week. Not that I have an ice scraper--and not that I could buy one anywhere. I had to use a credit card. Even my windshield washer fluid froze--they don't put antifreeze in it here, for obvious reasons! Well, maybe not so obvious any longer.

I hate to say, since winter isn't over yet, and we've been really lucky. I do remember vividly the Storm of the Century winter 99/00. It was a doozie.
good luck & bless

Not in NewEngland. It was up to the 60's till mid January. It has gotten cold now, but hardly any snow at all. Haven't shovelled yet (knock on wood). It will be Spring before we know it. If this is global warming...let it happen. We love it.

School has been canceled two days in a row here due to extreme cold. That is crazy! The mercury hasn't climbed above zero. Brrrr... Now it's snowing....

I agree that it has been crazy. I have experienced a crazier one here in Houston, but that was just a couple of years ago. Global warming!!!

You must be young. This isn't anything. The climate is ever changing and will always be that way. Get used to it.
