Who are you?
What does this question mean to you? Do you answer with a name? Do you answer with a belief? I am Mike. I am athiest. I am a bassist, lyricist, and a thinker. I am all of these, and my personal beliefs and traits have so much more of an impact on who I am than my birth given name. Yet I answer with the name, Mike. I am Mike. Not I am Mike, the athiest bassist. I am Mike. The bassist, the athiest, the thinker, the believer, the hater, the lover, the friend. The inaudible sigh. The relief that noone hears or sees. Who are you?




Buffalo. What other animal in this world travels in herds so tightly woven, so dependant on what the buffalo in front of them do, that they will follow eachother off a cliff, effectively eradicating almost an entire herd? Humans. Humans herd together, and we follow eachother off of our own cliffs. Cliffs that we can't even see, because we're so far up the person's *** in front of us that we can't even see that we're going straight for a cliff. Metaphorically speaking, we're all headed for one cliff or another. Not very many people desire to walk off a cliff, it happens suddenly. Sometimes the person who's head is up your *** knocks you off before you get a chance to turn around and break away from the herd.



If you're lucky, you got put on the outer edges of the herd. You get to see what is happening, from a 3rd person perspective, and you decide not to follow the herd. You go off on your own, sometimes you're able to fend for yourself, sometimes you're still eaten. At least you weren't part of the herd.



The whole human race is one big herd, and there are the few of us who broke off from the herd, who see this happening and are way too weak to stop an entire stampede.

I'm the Lone Ranger and I won't reveal my true identity. A buffalo almost gored my horse, Silver, to death. But I saved him and nursed him back to health.

I love the way you see things, this is an amazing question. I think I'm the type of person who looks deeper into herself for a question like this one. I'm not like most people who will answer with just a name and a religion or a belief. I tend to go with my gut and my intuition or something that tells me that I am who my soul is, not what my name is or my belief. I turn to my soul because the soul is the part of a human that creates a personality and it lives forever to know what is right and what's wrong. A person's personality and soul is what leads them to feel the way they do. I'm the type of buffalo who got put on the outer edges of the herd. At least you weren't part of the herd. I think if the stampede is willing to listen to me and not be stubborn, I'll be able to stop it. A herd of people will fall of the cliff but some won't. I'd love to go out on my own, there's a million things I want to experience but can't. There's a million things I want to try and do, but I'm being held back. I want to be the one looking at the herd following everyone else. I'd like to think I'm an ultra-spontaneous person but I've never done anything exciting in my life. After all I am a 21 year old wife and mother. Everyone with a family knows what I mean. I'm wasting my life away and I'm screaming inside knowing that I can't do anything about it, I can't abandon them, I'm the unhappiest person you can ever imagine.

We can't compare our lifes, we are only one being and cannot see something from another perspective. We can't compare or rate are own lifes, we've got nothing to compare it to.

I'm a demi-god who's been jailed in a human body for the so-called crimes I committed in the past. I'm forced to live out the entirety of this Human's life before I can finally be free again. If I do anything to shorten this Human's lifespan I will be forced to do it all over again.
