Unfortunately too many. With music I go through different periods where I have a favorite song or band that I'm interested in and then find a new favorite song. In my life, in order, these are the songs I thought were the saddest at the time :
Emotion by Samantha Song and the Bee Jees
Sad Eyes by Robert John
Without You by Harry Nilson
Sad to Belong by England Dan and John Ford Coley
When I'm With You by Sheriff
These are just to name a few, I've heard more but I just can't think of them right now.

The most ridiculous song I ever heard was On Top of Old Smokey. You might know it as On Top of Spaghetti All covered with cheese!
It's a folk song and it goes something like this:
On top of Old Smokey
All covered in Snow
I met my true lover
And then let him go
Cos loving's a pleasure
But parting's a grief
And a false hearted lover
Is worse than a thief
Cos a thief will just rob you
And take all you have
But a false hearted lover
Will lead you to the grave
And the grave will decay you
And turn you to dust
Not one man in a hundred
A poor girl can trust
Cost they'll hug you and kiss you
And tell you more lies
Than cross ties on the railroad
Or stars in the sky
So come all you young maidens
And listen to me
Never hang your harp
On a Green Willow tree.
That isn't just sad, that's downright depressing!
