The directions say to: use the fours tep process to find the slope of the tangent line to the graph of the given function at any point.

then it gives problems like these:

f(x)=13

f(x)=2x+7

f(x)=3x^2 ----- (3x squared)

f(x)=-x^2+3x

How do I work one of these? I looked at my notes but I cant seem to figure it out.

I would take the derivative of the function.

1. 0
2. 2
3. 6x
4. -2x+3
