Makeup actually can help protect you're skin from the elements. What's important is, to get the right kind for you're skin.
If you're oily: get a none oily foundation
If you're dry: get one that has oil .
I assume you're a Teen, so you'll find a light (texture) liquid foundation and apply with a sponge, blend and blending is very important.
Be sure to use a light moisturiser under( only apply's if norm or dry skin)
Be very sure to cleanse you're face daily, a.m.& p.m. or it will clog.

Makeup tends to dry out your skin. I always use a moisturizer before putting it on. This also helps to clean it off easier when you are ready to remove it.

No. And it does not clog your pores! you can go to www.proactiv.com and learn all about acne. It is not caused by makeup. Make-up does not cause wrinkles...too much exposure to the sun does that and it also causes acne. Do your research people!

no, there are special makeup that actually helps improve your skin. all makeup contain sunscreen, which protects your skin from the damages the sun may cause your skin. so no, makeup can but not ALL makeup damages your skin. as long as you take care of your face- washing dialy, not sleeping in makeup, and the appropriate moisturizer. your mom may just be trying to discourage you from wearing makeup at your age because she doesn't want you to grow up to fast.

False As long as you clean your face prior to bed and use care products to ensure the moisture stays then you'll be fine. You mom just wants you to stay mom's little girl.

i heard it does, but who gives a ****? With all the wrinkle-defying skincare systems out there, it wouldn't matter if I spent my whole life wearing makeup and sitting out in the sun without protection.
