i just had a miscarriage last week, i was almost 6 weeks. i was just wondering if anyones knows when ovulation period starts back up or if i will be on the same schedule. i usually get my period on the 26th and am fertile between the 6th and 12th of the following month. we still want to try and have a baby is it safe to start trying now and has anyone had success shortly after. thanks for taking your time to read this and answer.

please except my condolences on you miscarriage, It is best to wait a cycle to let the bodies natural healing powers reset some hormone levels. So relax this month and let your body and soul heal both physically and emotionally.

Sorry about your loss - even this early, it can be painful. Your beta levels must have gotten to zero first-most. Anyway, I believe you can start after your 1st regular cycle. I've also heard of people starting like 2 weeks later to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. What did your physician say? They know your medical history and why you miscarried, so I'd call and ask the nurse when can you start. Bless you and good luck!

I had a D&C with my 3rd miscarriage and I got pregnant with my son within a month. Although he was a preemie (Almost 3 months early) he is now a completely healthy, very active 2 1/2 year-old.

After having a miscarriage, your body is in a state of shock. Sometimes your body still thinks your pregnant. So the best thing I think is ask your doctor, and wait a couple of monthes, to let your body rest for a while. Then your chances of carrying successfully will be greater. Good luck, and God Bless =)

You should wait a minimum of one cycle, and more like 3 cycles before ttc again. It took us 12 months to get pregnant again after my 6 week miscarriage (which I got pregnant with on the first try).

I am truly sorry for your loss. I was able to conceive four weeks later.( same schedule)I have a happy healthy 2 y/o.
