More efficient, people will appreciate their environment more, and will conserve more, decision will be based on what our planet can sustain and not what we want because of greed and exploitation for making money, people will learn to appreciate people more, instead of putting money before life, there is a saying,"money is the root to all evil" lets hope that people will develope new technology that will aid people in the better-ment of their lives, and not cause harm to man and his surroundings.
For without man you cannot have a city much more a country, lets hope that politicians also will put the real issues at hand rather than their benifits first, and that citisens will be thouroughly educated for life to help others get to the good life by providing hope through what ever means, and not just to find a job,or to just get rich and join the rich club.
That my opinion for the future.

With the growth of online trading, I think cities will decrease in retail stores. More green areas seems to be popular at the moment which is good. Maybe the future will hold virtual cities online.
