You're talking about two different things. If you're in need to conceal a big problem, i suggest: "Dermablend" you find it at a better Dept. Store.
If it's just ordinary concealing like most of us do, (under eyes), most any concealer will do, like Maybeline, Revlon etc...The real secret is, in how you apply it. Take a thin Brush, (like lip liner) and apply in the crevices only and blend, blend, by patting motion using you're finger.
Depending on how dark or severe the area to cover is, you can apply before foundation and after. Try both ways to get best result according to you're needs.

I say don't wear it if you do not have skin problems. The worst aggrivator is putting an extra mask on top of your face. I have some skin problems but found that when I stopped cake baking my face it began to clear up.
Wearing just eye shadow, liner, mascara and some lip balm can be the best beauty tip.
If you must wear concealer try a little more expensive Wal-Mart brand that promotes less oils and more oxygen for your face to breathe.

I'd say Mac has the best concealers. When you go to their counter ask them to try a couple on you. They have many kinds ex. liquid concealers so depending on your skin type they can help you find the best product for you.
