You don't. You can request a new card from, but the Social Security Number is yours forever.

You can't get a new number - every American citizen is issued a Social Security Number at birth, a number they keep for life. If you've lost your card you can easily replace it by applying online or going to a Social Security office.

You can't, once the goverment issues you a number, that is yours till death.

They can send you a new card, just contact them...but not an entirely new number

i doubt you can get a NEW number. getting a new card should not be a huge hassle.
