I worked for a mean boss a real "ice queen". She came back from the bathroom with her skirt tucked into her pantyhose and no undies. Full moon rising for sure! NO ONE told her for over three hours. We loved every minute of it. When asked- we said "sorry we never really try to point out your mistakes". She "warmed up" a bit after that. Her hard nose management technique was much nicer. There were 6 woman and not one said a thing.

I worked in a school for the developmentally disabled. One of our staff members was hired in only because she was the director's girlfriend. She was always assigned the easiest of rooms and tasks. She was quite a pretty girl, but her attitude ruined her looks. She came off as better than everyone else. She never read the clients charts or put anything into her work. One day a particular aggressive client that she turned her back on (a no-no) in the day room, leaped like a frog onto her back. She was half bent over...and screaming...it took three people to pull him off of her. She wasn't hurt...well at least physically, I think her pride took a plumage straight down though. We all laughed about it, thinking she got what she deserved. She didn't stay working for much longer after that.

It's not quite revenge, but karma. I worked at a restaurant where the main manager was a real hardcase. She was absolutely unbearable. A couple years after I quit, her house burned down and she didn't have homeowner's insurance. Then a couple months after that, she got cancer. It's regretable because I wouldn't wish anything bad on anyone, but I think it is karma where she probably upset enough people.
