You have to keep in mind what a bunch of sad sacks most British men are. Blair is like some Greek god in comparison. That's why, at the end of the day, he towers over the rabble that claw for his job. Look around on the streets of modern Britain, or the braying losers in the office jobs: ask yourself: would anyone take those twits seriously?

I am from the US but I have to say I admire his skills as a politician. He is in probably the most difficult leadership position in the world running the gambit between the US and Europe. On top of that he has to be able to deal with conservative elements as well as liberal as he has shown in his ability to get along with both Clinton and Bush all the while keeping good Euro relations.
I don't know much on his policies but I think he is a good man.

The man is an egotistical power crazed buffoon desperate to be remembered in the same way as mrs thatcher was.
This behaviour, putting his own needs above those of the nation, are exactly the reason he wont be remembered.
I mean..we know what thatcherism is,but what is blairism?
Panderring to focus groups?
He will deservedly dissolve into insignificance,as we concentrate on undoing all he has done to destroy our beloved country.

i see him like a poor man who wins the pools dosent know how to handle the new found power, and blows it all in.
i see him as just anouther guitar plucking student with the job of care over a nation, but he only cares for his cronies and the rich, feeding his ego thinking his smile makes everything alright, when he surrenders britain to the e.u. constitution what will his monetary pay out be from europe. I think this is why he is hanging on.

I find him intelligent, articulate, and an excellent example of a leader. Although not a British citizen, I agree with his policies and that of his party.

i think he's sound as a bloke. no matter who was in charge of the country, they would be hated by some. if he answered your question i'd be inclined to give him a thumbs up. remember when he was in japan and his wife was singing "when i'm 64". the man stood there and just grinned embarrassed when a lesser man would have silenced her for good.
