From the news:
Hasbro is recalling about a million Easy-Bake Ovens because children can get their fingers or hands caught in the oven's opening.
Only units sold since last May are affected.
They're pink and purple plastic and resemble a kitchen stove with burners on top and a front-loading oven.
Here's what we know.
The recalled Easy-Bake Ovens have a model number of 65805, which is stamped onto the back of the oven.
To get a free retrofit kit or to find out more, contact Easy-Bake at 800-601-8418 or log onto easybake.com.
My input: If your child is old enough to know better than to stick their hand in an oven, I wouldnt worry about it. Hazard warnings are getting more and more rediculous everyday and many recalls are completely superfluous.

found this for you. the problem is little hands getting stuck in the opening. so with parental guidance you could still use it until you get the new part. Happy baking!
For a free retrofit kit, call the company at 800-601-8418. For more information, visit http://www.easybake.com or http://www.cpsc.gov.

Take it back to the store you purchased it and they will refund your money or possibly offer you a comparable substitute. Do it ASAP for the safety of your child.

i think they only refund it... i think it may be possible for them to exchange it if they already have a shipment of the new ones to replace the bad batch
