For most people, it is about 14 days after the start of their last period. However, don't take "for most people" at face value...all three of my kids were conceived about 4 days after the beginning of my last period (I have pretty short periods). You may need to get one of those kits that tells you when you are ovulating (found in the same place as you find pregnancy tests).
There is an old African custom that I remember some super-models talking about. And trust me, it seems to work. After 7 years of no birth control, we got pregnant with our third child by this method. Borrow someone elses baby. The younger, the better. Baby sit, carry him around...smell the baby's skin. For some reason, it gets your "clock ticking". As such, my nephew (the one I baby-sat) and my daughter are almost exactly a year apart. And I wasn't even thinking of getting pregnant... all I was thinking was, "I love that new baby smell..."

You need to know your cycle. Basically the time it takes from the start of your period to the start of your next period. On a 28 day cycle you ovulate around day 14. You could ovulate before or after that. You want to have sex before you ovulate for the greatest chance at conceiving. I would say after missing your period if you want the best chance, have sex every other day. Sperm can survive inside you for 3-4 days. A man needs 2 days for his sperm to be at maximum potency. If you want the best chance at not missing when you ovulate or not using a thermometer or ovulation test kit. Have sex every other day. It works. Mom of 3 beautiful kids.

Usually after you have your period, you will ovulate within two weeks. That is the best time to get pregnant, because you have dropped an egg that is just waiting to be fertilized. You will know you are ovulating because it feels like you are having menstral cramps just not as strong, there is usually a thicker discharge, but no bleeding. The FASTEST way to get pregnant is to have sex while you are ovulating.

Have sex while you are ovulating (exactly between the first day of the past period and the due date of the next). If you have a 28 day cycle, have lots of sex days 13-14-15. You could always go buy one of those ovulation tests. Good luck!

start with the day12 and finish with the day 15.The best for conceiving is day 14.But this is only for a 28 days cycle.If it's irregular you should buy ovulation tests.It's easy.If in 6 months you're not pregnant go to a specialist don't waist more time.Is not gonna work.I wish you good luck and a beautiful angel.

ive looked this up so many times and i get the same aswer. 14 days before ur next period. keep doin it at least once a day from the 14 days on. they best way is to lay on ur back and prop ur but up with a few pillows. worked for me. good luck!

have sex during your ovulation go to babycenter.com and they have an ovulation calculator. They are very accurate. Using their calculator I believe that I have just concieved a month ago.

You should be fertile day 11-16 if you have a 28 day cycle. You have to adjust this acording to your cycle.
