At two months, baby is probably imitating what she is seeing. That is how babies learn to do things.
But, at two months, it could also be gas. I'm not trying to be funny or anything, stomach gases tend to tickle baby's tummy.

They think their world is funny. Smiling and laughter reflect happiness. They are also starting to imitate the facial expressions they see. My 2 month old thinks the funniest thing in the world is a "Mater (Cars Movie" balloon that is deflated and hung on the wall over her changing table. She returns my smiles, and can imitate a look of surprise. She'll also stick out her tongue if I stick mine out first, and make her mouth into an 'O' shape to imitate me.

Is mostly imitation at that early age - baby sees you smiling and laughing and imitates as a way of making a connection.

babies are a lot like humans in that respect. sometimes they will laugh at things we too find funny....

next time you are with your wife, try farting so that the baby can hear it. I mean it; just ****** let one rip. It's a great way to make the baby smile
