Wow, this woman in the news is unstable, and she's an Astronaut! She was put in charge of a billion dollar spaceship and 7 lives and who could have known? Take note of the irony, such a disparity between crazy person and astronaut. Thank you, reporters, for pointing that out.

I guess they missed the psycho factor to her personality when they did their extensive NASA evaluations. The woman wore DIAPERS in her drive to get the other woman so that she wouldn't have to stop to use the bathroom. If that's not totally and completely insane, I don't know what is. I just really feel sorry for her husband and three kids.

She was a mission specialist, the guy she was focused on was a pilot so she was not in charge of the shuttle. That being said, its incredible that she was up there where she could have done some damage. Maybe she is a product of the permissive personnel policies that are heaped upon everyone in American industry...you know where you have to hire even the biggest freak or some skanky lawyer will sue you. You would think NASA could get around that somehow. Nice knowing that she won't be flying on the shuttle anymore. Wonder how much documentation there was in her personnel file that she was an odd little filly.

People are people, the irony is that you think you're more sane than her.
