Yes... often I'll 'fake out' my computer and just pretend to call.

Works like a charm.

I totally hate that if make it seems as if you are lying.
Hi , I would like to report that my computer is not bale to preform a printing job .

I don't hate it, but it does make me feel awkward, since when tech support comes they have a look at me as if why did I call them.

Just like going to the dentist with a tooth ache...

once you get there...

you can't even remember which tooth...

or the car mysteriously stops that funny sound while the mechanic raises the hood???

that just shows how good tech support is. you only have to think of the issue and they address it for you. kudos to tech supporters everywhere

My car does the same thing, clunking, so i bring it to the garage and it runs like a 2007 Mercedes.
I wonder if there is a connection?

sods law that is.... you hold for ages and just as they answer the phone you "mysteriously" manage to sort it yourself !!!! even more annoying when you hold for ages then get cut off and have to ring again.....
