Its about his leaving the group Genesis and starting out on hs own. One of his better decisions.

Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel both went on to become very successful in their own right....as though you needed to be told.

i thought he was 'tripping' solsbury hill is on the outskirts of bath,quite near his home.i thought he was up there chillin,catching the view,smoking a joint....as you do.when thoughts of musical freedom came to him
