I had an even lower gpa, 1.2 i think, and got accepted into a community college, a small university (at age 15), a cosmetology school, and also a major university, University of Louisiville. no problem so I guess GPA isnt all that important unless your vying for a spot in a university that is highly competitive on the enrollment. Or you are trying to take a class that u need a certain GPA as a prerequisiet ..but by the time u need that class u should have already raised your college GPA to the right point. I also never took act or sat.

Try a local community college. With a GPA under 2.0 many colleges will turn you away. Go for a semester, make good grades then apply to the college u like. Or stay get an Associates Degree and then move to a college. Be aware that you must have a 2.0 to get into a BS program.

the other answers are correct. No 4 year school will accept you because below 2.0 is typically the probation line at most colleges, although a few set it a little higher. Community colleges have an open-admission process, which means they will accept anyone. If you dont live close enough to a community college, find your closest one and see if they have an online program (most do). You can go there, register for classes, then take some easy classes online and get your GPA up. Good luck

A community college. Go there and do well, and you will have a better shot at getting into a University after 2 years.
The low GPA will hurt you in the application process.

I would try getting into a community college since your grades and ACT scores are not that good. Once you get into a community college, you can work hard and if you get good grades, you can then apply to a university.
