I am getting this message whenever I log off of my pc at work. "windows cannot update your roaming profile. possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security rights etc" i could not remember the rest it shut down before i could write it all down. So you dont think I am here to get the easy way out heres what I have done. I have access to the server and have gone into the user folders and removed the inherited permissions from the parent folder, I also gave the user and admin full rights/access from the users folder advanced permission tab. I also went into my folder in the server and gave myself full access as well as making sure its shared Im stumped now please give me some clues.

Thank you in advance.

I have had the same issue before. If the permissions of a server containing home folders are modified in such a way that ownership rights propagate down, this will deny users access to their roaming profiles. The quick fix if the permissions are not too messed up is to go into the home folder where the folder named "profile" is located, and change the ownership to the local admin account of that system. (Not a security group) Check the box to allow the permissions to propagate down. Do this only on the "profile" folder.
