I feel your pain. :) I go through that all the time. Just come out and tell your so-called "friend" that she'd better back off. Seriously, this girl I used to call my 'best-friend,' has started that crap up, and I've just had to tell her like it is. Your friend may not like it, but she needs to hear the truth. Don't be afraid of her. Good luck!!!!!!

i think she's probably a bit jealous - that she's saying these things because she wants you to herself & doesn't want you hanging around with other people.

maybe she feels that you'll like the other people more than her and she'll lose you as a friend? it could be that she's got low self-esteem and just needs a bit of reassurance that you value her friendship & aren't going to cut her out of things just because you've got other friends too?

just a theory, but see if reassuring her helps - it would be a shame to lose a friend and hurt her over a few hurtful comments she's made xxx

ideal ingredient to do (and that i comprehend its no longer person-friendly) yet ignore about them. they could't be a sturdy chum in the experience that they anticipate that everybody you draw close about with is both your boyfriend or lady friend. perhaps this "mate" is jealous of the interest you seem getting. Its that or they extremely fancy you and have not were given the braveness to admit their thoughts. ideal ingredient is like I pronounced is to ignore it.
